Healing Classrooms Challenge Spring Promo Winners!

Students Rebuild Team

March 31, 2016

Many thanks to all of the teams who have submitted pinwheels for our Healing Classrooms Challenge. And we want to give a special thanks to the teams that participated in our Spring Promotion!

Our Challenge goal is 200,000 pinwheels, which the Bezos Family is matching with $2 each--up to $400,000--to fund the International Rescue Committee's Healing Classrooms program. And during the Spring Promo period of February 1 - March 21, 2016, we matched all pinwheels we received at $2.50 each!

Also, during our Spring Promotion, we offered Team Contests in four categories: Most Pinwheels, Written Reflection Essay, Video Reflection Essay and Photo Essay. We're proud to announce the contest winners:

  • Most Pinwheels Winner - The View Park Preparatory Charter High School team in Los Angeles with 10,000+ pinwheels!
  • Written Reflection Essay Winner (High School) - Leaders of Lenoir team at Kinston High School in Kinston, North Carolina
