Climb the “Spines” to Know Yourself: Book Recommendations for Inner Peace
Reflection
After an inspiring visit from Justin Wadlington, Blind Eye Artist during Civics Week, students at PS/MS232Q were inspired to create interactive art in the form of mini book recommendations at the library makerspace. The unveiling of his painting, “Know Thyself,” helped students to understand that climbing the spines of books helps them to build their own backbone! Know who you are. Learn perspectives. Get civically involved. Make a difference. Find inner peace.
