The “Sadako and the 1,000 Cranes” activity is designed to support the United Nations’ “Prove It Matters” campaign by helping youth explore and learn about kindness, safety, and the importance of protecting children’s rights, as outlined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and, in particular, the Six Grave Violations.
