Art across the pond!
Last month, the Students Rebuild team took over partner Choose Love’s London pop-up to bring families together and create art for the Welcoming Refugees Project. In total, the week Students Rebuild spent making art with young people at Choose Love’s holiday store generated 4,936 postcards!
Although we have many different experiences, the simple act of caring and extending love and empathy for one another is a universal gift we all have. Young people have such great ideas for how to do this. The stories of community members and young people helping each other was heartening and makes me hopeful for the upcoming year.
