The Students Rebuild Awards featuring Half the Sky Movement's esteemed panel of judges represent many fields including education, entertainment, philanthropy, advocacy, economics, journalism and female entrepreneurship. We thank them for their commitment to identifying award winners—young women on the front lines of turning oppression into opportunity for women and girls in their communities through ingenuity, passion, creativity and / or leadership.

  • Maggie Doyne

    Maggie Doyne is the founder of Kopila Valley Children's Home and School in Surkhet, Nepal. At age 19, Maggie used her life-savings to build a home for orphaned children in war-ravaged Nepal. In 2010, she opened a school for 300 of the region's most impoverished children. Now, at age 26, Maggie is the legal guardian to 40 children.
